2 year pictures

Our fantastic friend and photographer has done it again! She has taken the more beautiful and awesome pictures of Caroline! We met Danita back in November 2009 for our pregnancy photo shoot and have been addicted to her photos ever since. Plus it helps that you feel like you've known her from the moment you meet her. She can sure work some magic with that camera! If you want to check out the fun photo shoot we did at Neptune Beach, go here, click on "website", then "clients", and the password is "caroline5". Hope you enjoy that cute smile!

Easter Fun!

We were able to do a lot of fun things to celebrate Easter this year. We started off the Easter season by going to the Easter Eggs-travaganza put on by our church. Kristin, Stephen, Mason, and Jace came along for the fun--face painting, dyeing eggs, egg hunt, bounce houses, and a teddy bear parade.

We had a fun morning at Doing Dishes with some of our friends. The kids painted pottery, listened to a story, and had a snack.

On the Wednesday before Easter, we went to Julie and Ella's house for some eggs dyeing and bunny cupcakes.

Easter egg hunt at the zoo

The Easter Bunny came!

On Easter Sunday, we went to church with some friends at Christ Church. It was a great service and always fun to try a new church. Afterward, we went to lunch with Kristin, Stephen, Mason, Jace, and Stephen's cousin at Cracker Barrel. John had to head home after lunch to do some slave labor in the yard while Caroline and I got to go have some fun at the Diehl house. We dyed eggs, went on an egg hunt, and played outside...until around 4:30! No nap and early to bed. It was a great Easter!

Fun Times!

I got to enjoy a little grown-up time last month. My niece, Erin, came to visit for spring break, and we went to Orlando for a little road trip. We enjoyed dinner and margaritas at Margaritaville, drinks and singing at Pat O'Briens, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. We had SO much fun (but I wished it hadn't been quite so crowded so we could have enjoyed Hogsworth and Hogsmeade a little more!)!! PS--I know Erin is going to kill me for some of these pictures...I'm ok with that. :-)

And then I convinced John to the Warrior Dash with me. It was so much fun too! I had never done anything like this before. We drove to the middle of nowhere with one of my friends from work and met up with a couple more friends in Live Oak. The course was 3 miles and there were 12 obstacles--from climbing over cars to a rock wall/fireman's pole to a wall that went straight up to jumping over fire to crawling through mud. It was awesome! And I would totally do it again.

PS--John acted ugly about doing the race with me but he admitted that he had fun!

Zoo Trips

Jacksonville has a really good zoo. We're members, and it's only about 15 minutes from our house--not a bad deal. Caroline and I have been a couple of times with our friends Kelly & Kailyn and Julie, Todd, & Ella. Here are some fun pictures:
